There is a new MacBook Pro keyboard now in the town, Apple merely said “Quieter,” it apparently protects against damages from the dust.

Sometime when your MacBook Pro gets damaged by dust and the user will also choose the free repair program, you perhaps won’t get the new Quieter third-gen “butterfly switch” keyboard but moderately a replacement for your original second-gen model.
According to the Mac Rumors and Apple Insider, both of which said that the Apple Stores and the Apple Authorized Service Providers won’t be allowed to replace any old keyboards with any new model. It’s seemingly exclusive to the 2018 MacBook Pro.
However, it is quite possible that the new keyboard sometimes doesn’t fit with your Macbook Pro. Then iFixit just tear down the 13-inch model and also discovered the top case which had been shaved down, apparently to make some more room for the latest laptop’s larger battery.
In June, Apple released its free keyboard repair program which is exactly made with the existing model of the MacBook Pro with the “butterfly switch” keyboard suitablility.
